Day 10: Do you have a favorite pattern or...
Hmm I’m not sure I have a favorite pattern. The slouchy hat I made was fairly easy and the pattern was perfect but Iunno…ask me this one in like 20 years.

search on etsy for tiny crochet and you’ll see some amazing things that can be done with the tiny hooks… BTW how do you get this speach bubble on your posts?
Haha I struggle with big hooks let alone tiny hooks. I do admire the stuff that can be done with them though. Erm what speech bubble?

Is it bad that I want two sets of knitting...
One where everything is exactly the same brand and all the same colour and all kept together neatly and everything is perfect and in order.
And another set where everything is completely different, some are bamboo, some are metal or plastic and they are all different colours and lengths and just yeah…absolute chaos.
I don’t think I would use the mismatched set tho..but it would be...

That moment when you can undo five rows at one stitch to add the yarnover and then redo the five rows for both the original stitch and the added one, without messing up in the least. And it takes you bare minimum of time.
That’s when you know you’re an independent knitter.
And I mess up trying to undo a basic garter stitch and now have to drive to my Moms house so she can fix it :(

Day 9: What fiber or yarn do you love working...
So far I’ve not used a huge variety of wool. I’ve been knitting less than a year and I’m deffo still a noob. I’ve used mostly DK yarn which is lovely to work with and rarely splits.
Although it split a lot I did enjoy working with the merino wool once I got started…that was Rowan Drift and as I am a huge fangirl of Rowan wool I was obviously going to love it. I just...

Day 8: What’s your most challenging project?
I’m doing day 8 as well today as I missed 7 yesterday.
I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve really done anything that is challenging. The blanket I’m making is teaching me a lot of new techniques and that’s probably the one I’ve had to look up things on youtube the most for.
Other than that probably the hippo I made.

I should have done this one yesterday but I only just took pictures of this today, despite finishing it months ago. I love the finished product and I loved the pattern. The only problem was the yarn cos it kept tearing every time I tried to cast on. Even my Mom struggled casting it on but we got there in the end and with a lot of careful knitting I finished it in a couple of hours. Its my gorgeous...

Oh now this one is difficult. I like everything I’ve knit. I love the hippo cos it was incredibly difficult (seeing as it was my second piece) and my Mom helped me considerably so we had some bonding time :). I also like my arm warmers cos they were the first thing I made completely on my own without input from my Mom and I learned a lot of new things. But I also really love my slouchy hat...

I think it was like 2 months. I started learning in August and my friends birthday was in September and I completely missed that deadline and I think I ended up giving her the scarf in October. So yeahh 2 months. In my defense I had just started my HND so I was quite busy with that lol.
